Project Description: The proposal is to exceed the 48-inch height limit within the front yard
setback and the side yard along a street setback on both sides of the lot to construct a 72-inch
high fence. The applicant has been ordered by a judge to build a six-foot high fence to ensure
that her large dogs are securely retained on her property. The site is located at the intersection
of Sunset Blvd. NE, Bronson Way NE and Grandy Way NE, and thus has street frontage on
three sides. The fence would be located 10 feet in from the front property line, and 5 feet in from
the side property lines. Landscaping is planned in the clear vision areas at the corners of the lot,
and along Sunset Blvd.
