The two projects are: 1) South Beach Water Walk — repair of an uplifted portion of the concrete walkway. Work involved will be the removal of an outbound wood fascia board, demolition of the top four inches of the walkway (approximately 12 square feet), install new rebar, pour new concrete and reinstall the fascia board. 2) West Water Walk — Repair of an existing, loose galvanized handrail system located on the outbound side of a concrete walkway by removing the posts and offsetting them by V-6 " and resetting them into the walkway. Approximately 40 posts will be reset. The work is scheduled to take place in early December 2008. The Parks Division is applying for JARPA with the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife. The estimated cost for 1) is $4,500, and for 2) is $35,000. 11/5/2008 1 Parks Division Renton r --- Renton City Limits Parcels ® Renton Aerial SCALE 1 : 1,915 _I 100 0 100 200 300 FEET la-ff l WCO N A/ http://rentonnet.org/MapGuide/maps/Parcel.mwf Wednesday, November 05, 2008 9:29 PM
