Our proposed ADU is consistent with the City’s comprehensive plan; zoning in our neighborhood is R-14.
Several of the homes surrounding us have ADU’s and there are also several multiple unit structures in
our area. As we and others around us improve our properties, it is a positive for everyone. It improves
the appearance and value of our neighborhood. We are adding two off street parking stalls located
inside the garage and one stall located in front of the garage, so there won’t be any impact to on street
parking. The new ADU won’t create any additional noise, light or glare. The new ADU will be a vast
improvement to the current alley landscape that currently is just a fence with a section of bare dirt. On
the west side an old green house will be removed and a lawn installed in it’s place.
