On June 20, 2018 a public meeting will be held from 6:00PM PM to 7:PM PM at the Renton
Highlands Library, located at address 2801 NE 10th Street, Renton, WA 98056, to describe and
discuss the following project:
The project name is Jefferson Highlands. The project consists of building one 5 -unit town home
building, plus one 6 unit townhome Building on 11 Unit Lot Subdivision lots. The units will be
constructed on two existing contiguous lots. Lot 1, at address 1513 Kirkland Avenue NE, Renton,
WA 98056 fronts on Kirkland Avenue NE facing east. Lot 2, at address 1518 Jefferson Avenue
NE, Renton, WA 98056, fronts on Jefferson Avenue NE facing west and is contiguous with Lot 1
along the west side of Lot 2. Lot 1 is 14,175 square feet and Lot 2 is 19,383 square feet. The
total square footage of both lots together is 33,550 square feet. A duplex currently exists on
each of the 2 existing lots. The existing duplex on Lot 2 also has an attached 2- car carport and
there is one small outbuilding (a shed) on Lot 1. Both existing duplexes, one on each lot, along
with the one outbuilding on Lot 1 will be demolished and removed from the site when
development begins.
The intent of this meeting is to facilitate an informal discussion between the project developer
and the neighbors regarding the project. While required by the City of Renton, this meeting is
not conducted by the City of Renton and is in addition to any future public hearing or public
comment opportunities available under City of Renton development review processes.
A conceptual site/plat layout showing buildings, road layout, landscape parking and open space
areas will be available for examination.
