Call to Order at 3:06 p.m. by Vice Chair Teresa Kenney. 2. Approval of Minutes-Krista Townsend motioned to approve the May 21, 2019 meeting minutes with one amendment, to add her name to the list of attendees. Motion was seconded by Leslie Anderson. All were in favor; motion carried. 3. Approval of Agenda-Staci VanderPol moved to table agenda its #7 until the July meeting.The motion was seconded by Adair Hasty. Teresa Kenney motioned to approve the agenda with the changes. All were in favor; motion carried. 4. Code Enforcement Presentation-Donna Locher, Lead Code Compliance Inspector a. Overview of Code Compliance program: CC collaborates with all aspects of city government to enforce city codes. CC has jurisdiction on private property; Police have jurisdiction on right of way. CC operates on a complaint basis. any interactions area out education. For individuals who need assistance there are free dump passes,free tire removal, help cleaning up homes, assistance with junk vehicles which can be towed from property at no cost. Effective July 28, 2019, tenants will be allowed 14 days (instead of 3)to catch up on late rent. b. Required period for notification of rent increases to tenants changed from 30 to 60 days c. Increase in housing trust fund d. Compass Center project includes 75 units for veterans and families e.
