GMRAL NOTES
1, All work and 2aterials shall be in conformance with the standards
and specifications of the City of Renton Utility department and
the Is test edition of the American Public Work Association (APWA)
Standards and Specifications.
2. Existing utility locations are approximate only. It shall be the
contractor's responsibility to verify locations and inverts prior
to construction. For utility locations in Ring County call
1 -800 -424 -5555.
3. A preconstruction conference and twenty -four hour notice will be
required prior to starting nee construction.
4. It shall be the contractor's responsibility to secure all
necessary permits prior to starting construction.
• 5, Inspection will be accomplished by a representative of the City of
Renton.
6. All trenches shall ,,e compacted prior to testing serer lines for
acceptance.
7. Side sewers shall be tested for acceptance at the same time the
mein line sewer is tested.
8. New connection to existing facilities shall be sealed off until
upstream construction is finished, tested, cleaned TV'®, and accepted..
All construction debris and water shall be removed prior to
opening the seal.
