AT NO TIME SHALL MORE THAN ONE (1) FOOT OF SEDIMENT BE ALLOWED TO ACCUMULATE WITHIN A CATCH BASIN. ALL CATCH BASINS AND CONVEYANCE LINES SHALL BE CLEANED PRIOR TO PAVING. THE CLEANING OPERATION SHALL NOT FLUSH SEDIMENT- LADEN WATER INTO THE DOWNSTREAM SYSTEM. 12. WHERE STRAW MULCH FOR TEMPORARY EROSION CONTROL IS REQUIRED, IT SHALL BE APPLIED AT A MINIMUM THICKNESS OF 2 TO 3 INCHES. 13. USE REINFORCED PLASTIC FIBER TO COVER STOCKPILED ITEMS WHEN NOT IN USE. IMPERVIOUS SURFACES CONTAMINATED WITH SEDIMENT AND GRIT FROM CUTTINGr PLANING OR PULVERIZING OPERATIONS SHALL BE VACUUM - CLEANED TO PREVENT CONTAMINANTS FROM ENTERING THE STORM DRAINAGE SYSTEMS OR SURFACE WATERS. 15 CONTRACTOR SHALL COMPLY WITH ALL APPROVED LOCAL, STATE AND FEDERAL PERMITS AND ALL PERMIT CONSTITIONS. SEE PROJECT SPECIFICATIONS FOR COPIES OF PROJECT PERMITS. A COPY OF THE APPROVED HYDRAULIC PROJECT APPROVAL (HPA) AND SWPPP SHALL BE KEPT IN A VISIBLE LOCATION. ALL WORK BELOW THE ORDINARY HIGH WATER LINE (OHWL) SHALL OCCUR ONLY BETWEEN JUNE 15 AND SEPTEMBER 30, 2007. 16. CONTRACTOR SHALL CAPTURE AND SAFELY REMOVE AND RELOCATE FISH WITHIN THE TEMPORARY DIVERSION AREA IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE HPA REQUIREMENTS. PRIOR TO INSTALLING TEMPORARY BYPASS, CONTRACTOR SHALL OBTAIN A 'WASHINGTON DEPARTMENT OF FISH AND WILDLIFE (WDFW) SCIENTIFIC COLLECTING PERMIT PER SPEC SECTION 1 -07.6 AND INSTALL FISH BLOCK NETS AND HAND NET FISH FROM WORK AREA PER PERMIT REQUIREMENTS. CONTRACTOR SHALL HAVE A QUALIFIED BIOLOGIST CAPTURE AND SAFELY MOVE FOOD FISH, GAME FISH, AND OTHER FISH LIFE FROM THE JOB SITE. CONTRACTOR SHALL HAVE FISH CAPTURE AND TRANSPORTATION EQUIPMENT READY AND ON THE JOB SITE. CAPTURED FISH SHALL BE IMMEDIATELY AND SAFELY TRANSFERRED TO FREE - FLOWING WATER DOWNSTREAM OF THE PROJECT SITE. CONTRACTOR MAY REQUEST WDFW ASSISTANCE IN CAPTURING AND SAFELY MOVING FISH LIFE FROM THE JOB SITE TO FREE - FLOWING WATER, AND ASSISTANCE MAY BE GRANTED IF PERSONNEL ARE AVAILABLE, BUT IT IS NOT GUARANTEED. 17. CONTRACTOR SHALL COMPLY WITH ALL PROVISIONS OF THE APPROVED STORMWATER POLLUTION PREVENTION PLAN (SWPPP).
