STANDARD SANITARY SEWER NOTES
1. Pipe shall be rubber qosketted, PVC, ASTM D 3034, SDR 35.
2. Side sewers shall be six inch size and shall be a minimum of five feet deep at a point ten feet beyond the
property line. Lots for which five feet is not considered sufficient depth shall be noted with a maximum invert
3. Minimum slope for six inch laterals shall be 1.0X.
4. All laterals shall be caPPed with a watertight plug, and shall be marked for location with a 2 X 4 X 8 stake
painted white, marked "SEWER with depth pointed in' black on the street side.
5. Side sewers shall be constructed in accordance with the City of Renton Standard Deta6.
6. Side sewers shall be tested for acceptance at the some time the main sewer is tested.
7. New connections to existing manholes or sewer lines shall be sealed off until upstream construction is finished,
tested cleaned and accepted by the `City Engineer.
8. The contractor shall adjust all manhole rims to flush with the final finish grade. All manhole rings and covers
shall be per the City of Renton Standard Details.
9. Contractors shall maintain a minimum of 10 foot separations horizontally and 3 feet vertically between all water
and sewer lines. Any conflicts shall be reported to the City Engineer prior to construction.
