This conduit will be the one connecting to the existing pole #9 and then to pole 4 at Maple Avenue S.W. 4. Intercept the existing conduit between poles 4and 5, at a point closest to pole 4. (See Drawing E1 of Cross Engineers) Cut the conduit, and after disconnecting wiring in pole #4 base, pull wiring back.to "cut" - location and install two factory "L's ". Install a Type "B" junction box at this location as shown on the plans as J.B. #1. From this junction box also install a 1 -1/2" conduit to the existing Maple Avenue S.W. crossing, and J.B. #2 (to be installed by this contract) as shown on the '.. plans. The three #8 wires brought from the "street lighting control - panel" (note 1 above) will now enter this contract's.conduit system and be installed . according to plans to the termination I pole (24) located on Hardie Avenue.. See Note 16 below. 5. All disconnections at pole 4 (note 4 above) shall be connected - immediately so that the existing lighting system will function without _ interruption. - 6.
