Boxes shall be 28% minimum of overall thickness.
Lid support members shall be welded to the frame.
4000PSI concrete is allowed if box reinforcement consists of 6 X 6 - W3 X W3 welded
wire fabric welded to the frame.
When noted in the contract. Type 2 and Type 3 Boxes shall be provided with 12" deep
extension boxes.
When noted in the contract. Type 2 Boxes shall be provided with a 10' X 27 1/2" 10
gage divider plate complete with fasteners.
Non - concrete Boxes may be submitted for approval. Evaluation will include an H -20
Load Test.
