HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 5375CITY OF RENTON,WASHINGTON ORDINANCE NO.5375 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON,WASHINGTON, ESTABLISHING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY ANNEXED WITHIN THE CITY OF RENTON FROM KING COUNTY ZONING TO RC (RESOURCE CONSERVATION) (COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AMENDMENT,CPA #2007-M-03). WHEREAS,property owners petitioned the City of Renton for annexation and concurrent rezoning,which annexation having previously been approved and ordinance adopted which will annex the property to the City of Renton,and the City having held two public hearings to consider this zoning application,the first hearing being held on August 1,2007 and the second hearing being held on October 1,2007,and the zoning request being in conformity with the City's Comprehensive Plan,as amended,and the City Council having considered all matters relevant thereto,and all parties having been heard appearing in support or in opposition to the proposed zoning; NOW,THEREFORE,THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I.The following described property in the City of Renton is hereby zoned to RC.The annual ordinance adopting the maps of the City'S zoning ordinance is hereby amended to show the rezoning and the CED Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to change the maps of the zoning ordinance,as amended,to evidence the rezoning,to wit: See Exhibit "A"attached hereto and made a part hereof as if fully set forth herein. [Said properties,approximately 109.35 acres,including those portions of Section 22, and the Southwest quarter of Section 23,all in Township 23 North,Range 5 East, W.M.,in the City of Renton,King County,Washington.] 1 SECTION II.
