Attached please find the 60% design plans for the Highlands Generator Replacement and Radio Equipment Relocation for your review and comment. Please note at this time we are just looking
for general comments that we have addressed the big picture items such as:
1. Location of the generator, fuel tank, and load bank;
2. Design and features of the shelter over the generator;
3. Improvements of the chlorination building into a radio equipment room;
4. Number of Conduits including spares to the top of the tank; and
5. General routing of conduit to generator and booster pump station.
Items that will be provided for 90% review will include:
1. Antenna and conduit installation details at the top of the tank;
2. Concrete slab replacement detail;
3. Electrical construction details;
4. Radio Equipment cabinet installation details;
5. Telemetry panel improvements;
6. Installation of 30 pair fiber optic cable from street to IT Fiber panel;
7. Technical specifications;
8. Coordination of drawing numbers and sheets to their appropriate details; and
9. Cell Company power meter consolidation design and details.
Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns at this time. When finished with your review we will schedule a meeting to discuss the City’s comments.
