ALL WORKMANSHIP AND MATERIAL SHALE BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CITY OF RENTON DESIGN STANDARDS AND SPECIFICATIONS, THE APPROPRIATE STATE ELECTRICAL CODES AND THE PROVISIONS OF THE LATEST EDITION OF THE IES LIGHTING HANDBOOK. 2. ALL WORK ON THE SCHOOL BEACON SYSTEM SHALL BE COMPLETED BY LICENSED CONTRACTORS EXPERIENCED IN THE INSTALLATION OF ILLUMINATION SYSTEMS. 3. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL SECURE ALL REQUIRED PERMITS AND COORDINATE INSPECTION WITH THE CITY, STATE AND POWER COMPANY AS REQUIRED. 4. CONTRACTOR SHALL CONTACT THE CITY INSPECTOR A MINIMUM OF 24 -HOURS PRIOR TO COMMENCING WORK ON THE LIGHTING SYSTEM. 5. CONTRACTOR TO PROVIDE AND INSTALL NEW ILLUMINATION CIRCUITS FROM SCHOOL BEACON PSE METER THROUGH BEACON CONTROLLER CABINET AND CONTINUING ON TO STREET LIGHTS. PROVIDE 2 POLE 20 AMP BREAKER ON NEW STREET LIGHT CIRCUIT IN EXISTING CONTROLLER CABINET. SEE ILLUMINATION PLANS. 6. CONTRACTOR TO COORDINATE WITH SITEWORK CONTRACTOR. SAWCUT FOR PAVEMENT WIDENING SHOULD BE MADE WEST OF LOOP DETECTOR STUB OUT. IF EXISTING LOOPS ARE DAMAGED THEN CONTRACTOR SHALL REPLACE PER "BENSON HILL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL" BY AMERICAN TRAFFIC SOLUTIONS PLANS DATED 7-10-2013. 7. CONTRACTOR TO PROVIDE CONTINOUS RUNS BETWEEN JUNCTION BOXES. NO SPLICES WILL BE PERMITTED. USE EXISTING PIGTAIL IN EXISTING BEACON JUNCTION BOX TO INSTALL NEW TYPE 2 J -BOX PER PLAN. IF PIGTAIL IS OF INADEQUATE LENGTH, PULL REPLACEMENT CONDUCTORS AS NECESSARY. IF LOOP DETECTOR PIGTAIL IS OF INADEQUATE LENGTH, THEN REPLACE LOOPS PER NOTE 6 ABOVE. 8. CONTRACTOR TO COORDINATE WORK WITH CITY OF RENTON. BENSON HILL ELEMENATARY SCHOOL SUMMER SESSION RUNS THROUGH AUGUST 8TH. CITY WILL PROVIDE TEMPORARY SIGNING AS NECESSARY.
