RESOLUTION NO. 3465
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. 1186.
WHEREAS, the City of Renton passed Resolution No. 1186 on February 25, 1963; and
WHEREAS, the subject matter of Resolution No. 1186 was to prohibit the City from
installing lights on the Cedar River ballfields because of the possible interference with traffic on
1-405; and
WHEREAS, because of new technologies, lights on the Cedar River ballfields would not
produce the amount of glare and light spillage which created problems for 1-405; and
WHEREAS, the State Department of Transportation has agreed to the repeal of
Resolution No. 1186;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. The above recitals are found to be true and correct in all respects.
SECTION II. Resolution No. 1186 is hereby repealed.
