ORDINANCE NO. 4795
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, AMENDING
ORDINANCE NO. 4611 TO CORRECT A SCRIVENER' S ERROR IN THE
LEGAL DESCRIPTION.
WHEREAS, the City of Renton, by Ordinance No. 4611, vacated a
portion of Maplewood Place S .E. from SR-169 to S .E . 6th Street; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No . 4611 contained a legal description as
Exhibit A thereto; and
WHEREAS, a scrivener' s error has occurred in that legal
description; and
WHEREAS, it is advisable and necessary to change that legal
description; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 4611 was duly recorded under King
County Auditor' s file No. 9606210967;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I. Ordinance No. 4611 is amended by changing
Exhibit A thereto to read as follows :
See Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof as
if fully set forth herein.
SECTION II. This Ordinance shall be effective upon its
passage, approval, and thirty (30) days after publication.

Right-of-Way Legal Description
That portion of Section 16, Township 23 North, Range 5 East, W.M., in King County, Washington
described as follows:
That portion of the Right-of-Way of Maplewood Place SE lying northwesterly of and adjacent to Tract"A"
of Maplewood Division No. 2 as recorded in Volume 39 of Plats, page 39, records of King County,
Washington,being described as:
Beginning at the point of curvature on the north line of said Tract "A" from which the northeast corner of
said parcel bears S 61°09'15" E 55.00 feet, thence N 61°09'15" W, on a projection of said north line, a
distance of 22.00 feet;
Thence along the arc of a curve to the left with a radius of 40.00 feet,through a central angle of 90°00'00"
an arc length of 62.83 feet;
Thence S 28°50'45"W a distance of 42.84 feet;
Thence along the arc of a curve to the left with a radius of 35.00 feet,through a central angle of 86°02'23"
an arc length of 52.56 feet;
Thence S 57°11'38"E a distance of 29.49 feet,to the point of curvature on the southerly line of said parcel;
Thence northerly along the westerly line of said parcel along the arc of a curve to the right with a radius of
30.00 feet,through a central angle of 90°00'00", an arc length of 47.12 feet to a point of tangency;
Thence northeasterly along the northwest line of said parcel a distance of 60.00 feet to a point of curvature;
Thence along the arc of a curve to the right with a radius of 30.00 feet, through a central angle of

Contains an area of 3527.37 square feet, or 0.081 acre more or less.
Reserving an easement for public utilities (including water, wastewater, and surface water) with necessary
