ZONING CLASSIFICATION OV CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY OF
aENIDN FROM GENERAL CLASSIFICATION DISTRICT (GS -1) TO SU.B1JRR!-UN
RESIDENCE DISTRICT (SR -1)
ARER&S under Chapter VII, Title IV (Building Regulations) of Ordinance
No. 1628, known as the "Code of General Ordinances of the City of Renton" as amended,
and tKe maps adopLed in conjunction rherewith, the property hereinbelow described has
Heretofore been zoned as Geaeral Clazsification District (GS -1) and
under the aforesaid Ordinance, as amended, a petition for change
of :one classification of the hereinbelow de5cribed property has been filed with the
City Clerk of the City of Renton an or about November 3, 1962, which petition was
then referred to the Planning Commission for %vestigation, study and public hearing
as a public hearing having been held thereon on November 28, 1962, in the Council.
Chambers of the City of Renton, all pursuant to notice of hearing duly published and
posted as provided by law; said Planning Coumiissiori. have duly considered and studied
said petition and cernin modKicationy having been made, and all parties having been
beard appearing in support thcreof or -in opposition thereto; NOW THEREFORE
AX FOLLOWS:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYORKND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON
SECTION 1: The following described property in the City of Renton is
hereby rezoned to Suburbao Residence District (SR -1) as spe cified below; the City
Engineer and the Planning Director are hereby authorized and directed to change the
usps of the zoning ordinance, as amended, to evidence this rezoning; said property
being described as follows:
That portion of Government Lot 2 in Section 20, Township 23 N.,
Range 5 E.J.M., lying easterly of Secondary State lila hl ,lay No. 5-C
(John F. Beason Road No. 532) described as follows: beginning 553
feet southerly and 200 feet easterly from the northwest corner of
Government Lot 2; thence easterly 280 feet; thence aouthe-ely 75 feet;
thence westerly 280 feet; theace northerly 75 feet to tbo point of
beginning; described property being the same as Tax Lots 33 and 35,
all located in Renton, King County, Washington
TOGETHER WITH a variance allowing the construction of a certain residence
on Ithe east portion of the above described properti, with proper access to Banson
Road and such setback requirements as may eNist to residential dwellings immediately

south of subject property, all as more particularly appears in perltioner's plans
and specifications.
AND SAID REZONING to be further subject to the laws and ordinances of
the City of Renton.,
SECTION 11: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage, approval and legal publication.
