AN ORDINANCE THE CI TY C10 RENTON, WASHINGTON, VACATING
CERTAIN PC7RTICNS'ClySTREETS IN THE CI'I'Y CF RENTON, KING
CC,[TNTY, WA3LINGTON.
WHEREAS, proper petitions for vacating; certain portions of streets as
hereinafter more particularly described were duly filed with the City Cleric of the
City of Renton on or about June 13, 1360, signed by all the owners of the property
aoutting upon portions of said streets sought to be vacated, and said petitions
having been duly read at the regular meeting of the City Council and the City
Council having resolved to fix the time and place of hearing on said petitions for
July 12, 1960, and
WHEREAS, the City Council did fi;; July l2, 060 as the date of public
hearing on said petitions, directed the Clerk to give notice of such hearing in the
manner provided by law; and
WHEREAS, the City Clerk has duly caused notice of such hearing to be
published and be posted for the time and in the manner provided by law, and said
petitions for vacation having been duty considered and approved by the Planning
Commission of the City of Renton after due investigation; and at such public hear-
ing no protests or objections to the granting of said petitions for the vacating of
portions of certain streets having been rriade, filed or received, and the City
Council, by and through its committee, has duly studied this matter, and con -
tinned the public hearing, and
WHEREAS. the City Council aw said puolic hearing, as continued, voted to
grant said petition for vacating, and the Council iurLher .finds that the vacation of
portions of said streets is proper and advantageous to all concerned and would
serve the puiolic interest and will not cause injury or darna;ge to any properties or
i?ersons; and the Council further hawing voted to retain a perpetual ten foot ease-
mant for utility and other public purposes within the streets so vacated, NOW
