ORDINANCE NO. HOP Am Ordinance of the City of Renton, annexing eertain territory to the City, making same part of adjacent Ward, and affirming accept- ance and Jurisdiction thereof. J THE CITT COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BENTON, WASHINGTON DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS t Section 1. Section 2. The City of lenton through its legislative authorities, deeming it convenient, expedient, necessary, and for the best interests of the City, d©es hereby annex to the City ©f lenton and include within the corporate limits of said City all parts, portions and parcels of the lands and territory hereinabove described which are n©t situated and embraced within the corporate limits of said City heretofore established and existing; and does hereby assume full jurisdiction over the lands and territory hereinab©ve described, and all rights and authority therein accruing to the City from said grant and under the Laws ©f Washington, including the right to e©mply with the conditions ©f said grant* Section 3. The lands and territory hereinabove annexed, being adjacent and contiguous t© the Third Ward ©f the City of lemt©n and -2 not more than fomr miles from the eorporate limits ©f said City existing before such annexation, shall become and be embraced in and a part of the Third Ward of said City, and shall be part of the Second Precinct in said Third Ward. Section *f. This Ordinance is adopted under authority of the Laws of Washington, including Sections 89©©, 89©7, and 9202 ©f Remington's Revised Statutes. This Ordinance shall be in full f©r@e and effect five days from and after its passage, approval, and publicatl©n. Passed by the City Council this 3rd day ©f February 19^8.
