RESOLUTION NO. 3097
.A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
AUTHORIZING THE TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF LOGAN AVENUE SOUTH
FOR UTILITY REPLACEMENT AND ROAD RESTORATION.
WHEREAS, the City of Renton Planning/Building/Public Works
Department has previously determined that the existing concrete
paneled street is beyond repair and must be rebuilt; and
WHEREAS, the City, as the party responsible for the condition
of the existing right-of-way, has agreed to restore the street at
its expense; and
WHEREAS, the removal and replacement of the existing
utilities, backfill and pavement will necessitate the temporary
closure of Logan Avenue South between its intersection with South
Tobin Street and its- intersection with South 2nd Street; and
WHEREAS, the work schedule... has been extended from November
21, 1994 to December 20, 1994 to minimize interference with
traffic; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to City Code Section 9-9-3 the City Council
is to authorize such closures by means of a Resolution;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I. The above recitals are found to be true and
correct in all respects .
SECTION II. The City Council does hereby authorize the
closure of Logan Avenue South between its intersection with South
Tobin Street and its intersection with South 2nd Street for an

additional period of approximately three ( 3) weeks until December
20, 1994 .
