RESOLUTION NO. 2723
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
SEGREGATING ASSESSMENTS FOR PARCEL #4 OF LID #330.
WHEREAS, the City of Renton has been requested to segregate
certain assessments for Local Improvement District #330 as it
relates to Parcel #4; and
WHEREAS, the original assessment roll for LID #330 was approved
on May 18, 1988; and
WHEREAS, Parcel #4 is legally described on Exhibit A attached
hereto and made a part hereof as if fully set forth herein; and
WHEREAS, the amount of the original assessment for Parcel #4
was $63, 860. 00; and
WHEREAS, Parcel #4 has been segregated into seven parcels; and
WHEREAS, portions of the property have been the objects of
right-of-way acquisitions by the City of Renton for Oakesdale
Avenue S.W. and the P-1 Channel; and
WHEREAS, the City of Renton has become obligated to pay the LID
assessments for the two portions of Parcel #4 which it has acquired;
and
WHEREAS, the City of Renton and the owner of Parcel #4, Puget
Western, have agreed to segregate the assessments based upon the
respective front footages of their ownerships; and
WHEREAS, such segregation would spread the assessments on the
same basis as the original assessments; and
WHEREAS, the seven parcels of the original Parcel #4 are
legally described in Exhibit "B" incorporated herein and made a part
hereof as if fully set forth; and

WHEREAS, the segregation will not
jeopardize the security of
the lien for such assessments or reduce the security for any
outstanding Local Improvement District obligations payable from such
assessment.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. The Finance Director of the City of Renton is
ordered to segregate the original assessments of Parcel #4 of LID
#330 between the seven parcels as legally described in Exhibit "B"
attached hereto with the tracts bearing the following assessments:
Parcel a: $5,393. 00
Parcel b: $1,963. 00
Parcel c: $8, 022. 00
Parcel d: $16, 600. 00
Parcel e: $12, 000. 00
Parcel f: $6, 131. 00
Parcel g: $13, 751. 00.
SECTION II. The total of these segregated assessments equal
the total unpaid assessment before segregation and if that should
not be, then each assessment will be increased proportionately until
the sum of the seven will total the unpaid assessment before
segregation.
SECTION III. As part of the segregation, the Finance Director
of the City of Renton will collect a fee of $10. 00 for each tract
for which segregation was made.

SECTION IV. The City of Renton chooses to charge its w

reasonable engineering and clerical costs for this segregation in
the amount of $75. 00.
