CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON
RESOLUTION NO. 2699
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RENTON, WASHINGTON, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I:
A. Those certain Banks and Savings and Loan Associations per Exhibit "A" (attached) are
hereby designated as one or more of the depositories for funds belonging to or under control of
the City of Renton, a municipal corporation, under the laws and statutes of the State of
Washington. The City's duly appointed and qualified Director of Finance, to wit: Dan
Clements, is hereby authorized and directed to open and maintain one or more accounts at said
named depositories on behalf of and in the name of the City of Renton.
B. The above-mentioned depositories be and they are hereby further authorized to honor
and pay checks, drafts, and similar instruments in the name of the City of Renton and signed
by any two (2) of the following officials of the City of Renton:
TITLE' NAME
Mayor Earl Clymer
Finance Director Dan Clements
Deputy Finance Director W. E. Bennett
and whether said checks, drafts, or other instruments be made payable to the City of Renton, or
others, and whether such checks, drafts, or other instruments or the proceeds of same are used
for municipal or similar purposes.
C. There shall be no obligation on the part of the above depositories to see the
application of funds in any case whatsoever and that a true copy of this resolution be certified
and delivered to each said depository at the time any such account is opened on behalf of the
City of Renton.

D. That any of the officers or officials of the City of Renton above-named are
further authorized to endorse any such checks, drafts, or other instruments made payable
to the City of Renton, a municipal corporation.
E. The following individuals are authorized to request wire transfer of funds for
purposes of investing idle cash in qualified public depositories:

F. Resolution 2634, heretofore, passed and approved on January 27, 1986, is
hereby repealed.
