RESOLUTION NO. 2636
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO CONSTRUCT AND INSTALL
5-LANE STREETS WITH CURBS, GUTTERS, SIDEWALKS,
WATER MAINS, LANDSCAPING, STREET LIGHTING,
STORM DRAINAGE, TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES AND
IMPROVEMENTS AND SANITARY SEWERS ON OAKESDALE
AVENUE S.W. FROM S.W. 7TH STREET TO GRADY WAY,
ON S.W. 7TH STREET FROM PRESENT WESTERN END OF
FULL DEVELOPMENT TO OAKESDALE AVENUE S.W. AND
ON OAKESDALE AVENUE S.W. FROM S.W. 7TH STREET
TO MONSTER ROAD S.W. ,AND TO CONSTRUCT AND INSTALL
A NEW SANITARY SEWER FROM THE EXISTING METRO
INTERCEPTOR LYING NORTHERLY AT S.W. GRADY WAY
EXTENDING NORTH ALONG THE WESTERLY MARGIN OF THE
P-1 CHANNEL TO MONSTER ROAD S.W. AND THE VICINITY
OF THE CONTAINER CORPORATION ON-SITE WASTE DISPOSAL
SYSTEM, INCLUDING ANY NECESSARY APPURTENANCES THERETO
AS MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN; AND TO CREATE
A LOCAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT TO ASSESS THE COST AND
EXPENSES OF SAID IMPROVEMENT AGAINST THE PROPERTIES
IN SUCH DISTRICT SPECIALLY BENEFITED THEREBY;
NOTIFYING ALL PERSONS WHO MAY DESIRE TO OBJECT TO
SAID IMPROVEMENT TO APPEAR AND PRESENT THEIR OBJECTIONS
AT A MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL TO BE HELD ON
MARCH 17, 1986, AND CREATING LOCAL IMPROVEMENT
DISTRICT NO. 332 .
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RENTON, WASHINGTON, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: That it is the intention of the City Council of the
City of Renton, Washington, to construct and install 5-lane streets
with curbs, gutters, sidewalks, water mains, landscaping, street
lighting, storm drainage, traffic control devices and improvements,
storm drainage and sanitary sewers and appurtenances thereto, in
the following described area of the City, to-wit:
1. (a) Description of Local Improvement District No. 332 :
See Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part
hereof as if fully set forth herein.

(b) Improvements:
See Exhibit "B" attached hereto and made a part
hereof as if fully set forth herein
There shall be included in the foregoing the acquisition and
installation of all necessary valves, fittings, couplings, connections,
equipment and appurtenances, and the acquisition of any easements,
rights-of-way and land that may be required; and there shall further
be included the performance of such work as may be incidental and
necessary to the foregoing construction and installation.
The City Council may, in its discretion, modify and amend the
details of the foregoing described improvement, including the financing
thereof, where in its judgment it appears advisable, provided such
modifications and amendments do not substantially alter the general
plan of said improvement project. All of the foregoing shall be
in accordance with the plans and specifications therefor to be prepared
by the Director of Public Works of the City of Renton.
SECTION II: The entire cost and expense of said improvement,
unless hereafter timely modified or amended by the City Council,
shall be borne by and assessed against the property specially. benefited
by such improvement to be included in the local improvement district
to be established, embracing as near as may be all property specially
benefited by such improvement. There shall be included in the cost
and expense of said improvements all cost items specified -in
RCW 35 .44 .020 .
SECTION III: All persons who may desire to object to the improvement
herein described are hereby notified to appear and present such
objections at a meeting of the City Council to be held in the Council
Chambers of the City Hall, Renton, Washington at 8 : 00 P.M. on

March 17, 1986, which time and place are hereby. fixed for hearing
all matters relating to said proposed improvement and all objections
thereto and for determining the method of payment for said improvement.
The City .Clerk shall give notice of .said hearing and said proposed
improvement as required by law.
SECTION IV: The Public Works Director, or his duly authorized
representative, is hereby directed to submit to the City Council,
on or before the aforesaid hearing date, all data and information
required by law to be submitted.

ATTACHMENT $
SCOPE OF WORK
Oakesdale Avenue S.W. - S.W. 7th Street to Grady Way - 5-lane street with
curb, gutter and sidewalk on east side. Paved shoulder and guardrail
as required on west side, landscaping, street lighting, storm drainage,
water mains, and extend storm drainage along Grady Way S.W. to empty
into the P-1 Channel . Right-of-way acquisition from Puget Power and
Grady intersection and traffic control improvements and any other
necessary appurtenances.
S.W. 7th Street - from present western end of full development to
Oakesdale Avenue S.W. - 5-lane street with curb, gutter and sidewalk
on both sides, water mains, landscaping, street lighting, traffic
control devices and improvements, storm drainage and sanitary sewers,
and any other necessary appurtenances.
Oakesdale Avenue S.W. - S.W. 7th Street to Monster Road S.W. - 5-lane
street realignment. .Landscaping, street approaches to the west and
south along Monster Road S.W. are included and any other necessary
appurtenances. Structures and hydraulic elements for crossing the
P-1 Channel are included. The improvements shall include water mains,
sanitary sewers, storm drainage and street lighting. Curb, gutter
and sidewalk shall be installed on both sides of the street from
S.W. 7th Street to Monster Road S.W.
Sanitary Sewer Extension - new sanitary sewer from the existing Metro Inter-
ceptor lying northerly at S.W. Grady Way will be extended north along
the westerly margin of the P-1 Channel to Monster Road S.W. and the
vicinity of the Container Corporation on-site waste disposal system
and any other necessary appurtenances shall be included.
