CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON
RESOLUTION NO . 2548
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
HONORING AND COMMENDING RETIRING STATE SENATOR
A. N. "BUD" SHINPOCH
WHEREAS Bud Shinpoch has recently announced his intention
to not run for re-election -at the end of--his present term; and
WHEREAS he has faithfully served constituents of his District
and the State as both a State Senator and a State Legislator; and
WHEREAS he has developed a widely regarded expertise in
budgetary, computer and parliamentazy matters to name just a few; and
WHEREAS he has a widely recognized and well deserved reputation
for fair play and independence; and
WHEREAS his tenure has greately benefited the citizenry of
the State and the loss of his expertise and integrity will create a
large void in the Legislature, NOW THEREFORE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, DO
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I: The above recitals are found to be true and
correct.
SECTION II: The City of Renton does commend A. N. "Bud"
Shinpoch for his long and meritorious service as a State Legislator,
expresses its sense of loss because of his impending; retirement from
the Legislature and thanks him for his many years of service .
