RESOLUTION N0. 2555
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON , WASHINGTON
HONORING CHARLES J. DELAURENTI FOR SINGULAR
ACHIEVEMENT IN THE GAME OF GOLF.
WHEREAS , Charles J. Delaurenti has been a long time
Renton resident, City Council Member and Mayor; and
WHEREAS , his dedicated perseverance is well known ; and
WHEREAS., he has frequently applied that perseverance to
the goals he believes are worthy of achievement ; and
WHEREAS , he considers achievement in the game of golf
to be a worthy goal ; and
WHEREAS , for many years he has sought the ultimate
achievement in the game of golf, a "hole in one" stroke ; and
WHEREAS , he has recently achieved that worthy goal ,
now therefore
THE CITY CODICIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON , DO
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I : The City Council of the City of Renton does
applaud the fortitude and perseverance of Charles J . Delaurenti in
achieving excellence in the game of golf , and does further commend
him for achieving a long-sought-after "hole in one" stroke.
