AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON
CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN
PROPERTIES WITHIN THE CITY OF RENTON FROM GENERAL
CLASSIFICATION DISTRICT (G) TO LIGHT INDUSTRIAL
DISTRICT (L-1) (R-004-81 VEHICLE TEST TECHNOLOGY ,
INC)
WHEREAS under Chapter 7 , Title 'IV (Building Regulations)
of Ordinance No . 1628 entitled "Code of General Ordinances of the
City of Penton" as amended , and the maps and reports adopted in
conjunction therewith , the property hereinbelow described has hereto-
fore been zoned as General Classificiation District (G) ; and
WHEREAS a proper petition for change of zone classification
of said property has been filed with the Planning Department on
or about January 13 , 1981 , which petition was duly referred to the
Hearing Examiner for investigation , study and public hearing , and a
public hearing having been held thereon on or about February 24, 1981 ,
and said matter having been duly considered by the Hearing Examiner
and said zoning request being in conformity with the City' s Comprehen-
sive Plan , as amended , and the City Council having duly considered
all matters relevant thereto , and all parties having been heard
appearing in support thereof or in opposition thereto , NOW THEREFORE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I : The following described property in the City
of Renton is hereby rezoned to Light Industrial District (L-1) as
hereinbelow specified; subject to the findings , conclusions and
decision of the Hearing, Examiner dated I-larch 10 , 1981 ; the Planning
Director is hereby authorized and directed to change the maps of the
Zoning Ordinance , as amended , to evidence said rezoning, to-wit :
See Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part
hereof as if fully set forth herein.
(Said property being located at the Southeast corner
of intersection of Thomas Avenue S .W. and S .W.
10th Street) .
AND SUBJECT FURTHER to that certain DeclaraLion of Restrictive

Covenants executed by Petitioner-owners on or about March 30 , 1981 and
recorded in the office of the Director of Records and Elections ,
Receiving No . _ 8105110488 and which said Covenants are hereby
incorporated and made a part hereof as if fully set forth.
SECTION II : This Ordinance shall be effective upon
its passage , approval and five days after its publication.

Beginning at a point on the southerly right-of-way line
of SW 10th Street , said point being south 00 35 ' 36" west 1450 . 37
feet from the northeast section ' corner of Section 24 ; thence
along said south right -of-way line south 770x6130" west 231 . 25
feet to the east line of Thomas Ave . SW , projected southerly ;

right -of-way line of SW Grady Way ; thence along said northerly
right-of-way line north 77026130 " east 57 . 38 feet ; thence north
12033130" west 170 . 20 feet to the southerly right-of-way line
of SW 10th Street ; thence south 77026130" west 17 .64 feet to
the point of beginning .
