AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RFNTON , WASHINGTON CHANG-
ING THE ZOPJI^JG CLASSIFICATT��"I OF CERTAIN PROPERTIES
WITHIN THE CITY OF RENTON FRO^1 RESIDENCE DISTRICT
( R-2) TO BUSINESS DISTRICT ( P- 1 ) . ( R-029-81 DIXON)
WHEREAS under Chapter 7 , Title IV ( Building Regulations) of
Ordinance No. 162.8 known as the "Code of General Ordinances of the
City of Renton" , as amended , and t.h,, maps and reports adopted in
conjunction therewith , the property hereinbelow described has
heretofore been zoned as Residence District ( R-2) ; and
WHEREAS a proper petition for change of zone classification
of said property has been filed with the Planning Department on or
about March 2.4 , 19819 which petition was duly referred to the
Hearing Examiner for investigation , study and public hearing , and a
public hearing having been held thereon on or about April 28 , 1981 ,
and said matter having been duly considered by g the Hearin Examiner
and said zoning request being in conformity with the City ' s
Comprehensive Plan , as amended and the City Council having duly
considered all matters relevant thereto , and all parties having been
heard appearing in support thereof or in opposition thereto , NOW
THEREFORE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF TETE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON , DO ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I : The following described property in the City of
Renton is hereby rezoned to Business; District (B-1 ) as hereinbelow
specified ; subject to the findings , conclusions and decision of the
Hearing Examiner dated May 11 , 1Q° 1 ; the Planning Director is hereby
authorized and directed to change tL,(, ml-Ips of the Zoning Ordinance ,
as amended , to evidence said rezoning , to-wit :
See Exhibit "A" attached hereto ind made a part hereof
as if fully set forth herein .

(Said property being located at vicinity of 3241 Sun-
set Boulevard N. E. )
SECTTO.N TI : This Ordinance shall be effective upon its
passage , approval and five days after its publication .

That portion of the South half of the Northeast quarter of the
Southeast quarter of the Southwest quarter of Section 4 , Town-
ship 23 North , Range 5 East , W.M. , in King County , Washington ,
lying Easterly of Primary State Highway No. 2: That portion of
the Southeast quarter of the Southeast quarter of the Southwest
quarter of Section 4 , Township 23 North , Range 5 East , W.M. , in
King County , Washington , described as follows :
Beginning on the Easterly line of said subdivision at a point
549. 90 feet Northerly of the Southeast corner thereof; thence
North 88 '-53 ' -08" West to the Southeasterly line of State Highway
No . 2; thence North 35' -44 ' -50" East along said Southeasterly
line to the Northerly line of said subdivision; thence South
89 -48 ' -19" East along said Northerly line 34 .41 feet to the _
Northeast corner of said subdivision ; thence South 1 '-16 ' -12"
