ORDINANCE NO. 3634
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON ADOPTING
THE ZONING MAP AS OFFICIAL DESIGNATION FOR ZONING
CLASSIFICATIONS AND CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF
CERTAIN PROPERTIES WITHIN THE CITY OF RENTON
WHEREAS the City of Renton has previously adopted a Zoning Ordinance for the
entire City of Renton, and
WHEREAS the City of Renton has prepared and utilized a Zoning Map visually
displaying the zoning designation of various parcels of property within the City of Renton, and
WHEREAS the public has come to rely upon the Zoning Map, and
WHEREAS the official Zoning Ordinance and the Zoning Map are occasionally not in
agreement as to the zoning status of certain properties, and
WHEREAS the City Council of the City of Renton desires to eliminate such
inconsistencies and maintain an up to date, reliable zoning map, and
WHEREAS the present Zoning Map of the City of Renton has been updated and the
conflicts between the Zoning Ordinance and the Zoning Map presented to the City_ Council for
its consideration, and
WHEREAS the City Council of the City of Renton did duly establish and hold a public
hearing to adopt said Zoning Map and establish the zoning designation of the various parcels
that were in conflict and the City Council having duly considered all matters relevant thereto
and all parties having been heard appearing in support thereof or in opposition thereto, NOW
THEREFORE
FOLLOWS:
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS
SECTION 1: The attached Zoning Map of the City of Renton is hereby confirmed as
depicting the official zoning designations of the various parcels of property as of date of
adoption of this Ordinance.
SECTION Ik The following described properties in the City of Renton are rezoned to
the following designations as specified hereinbelow:
PARCEL 1: Dunn Lumber, 120 Factory Avenue N.
From: R-2 Duplex
To: B-1 Business.
Lots 6, 7, 8 and 9, Block 9, together with the vacated street, Car Works Addition to
Renton, all located in Renton, 'rang County, Washington.
