HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 3861 CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON ORDINANCE NO. 3861 AN ORDI14ANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTIES WITHIN THE CITY OF RENTON FROM BUSINESS DISTRICT (B-1) TO GENERAL CLASSIFICATION DISTRICT (G-1) (R-019-82 G M ASSOCIATES) WHEREAS under Chapter 7, Title IV (Building Regulations) of Ordinance No . 1628 known as the "Code of General Ordinances of the City of Renton" , as amended, and the maps and reports adopted in conjunction therewith, the property hereinbelow described has hereto- fore been zoned as Business District (B-1) ; and WHEREAS the property herein below described was rezoned to such B-1 classification by Ordinance No . 3668 with a proviso that the rezone was subject to certain Declarations of Restrictive Covenants dated September 8 and September 30, 1982, and recorded under Receiving Nos . 8210110322 and 8210110323; and WHEREAS such Restrictive Covenants provided for a reversion in the zoning to G-1 Classification if a building permit was not issued on the property within a two year period of time; and WHEREAS said two year period of time has passed and no building permit has been issued on such property, NOW THEREFORE THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS : SECTION I : The following described property in the City of Renton is hereby rezoned to General Classification District (G-1) as hereinbelow specified; See Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof as if fully set forth herein. (Said property being located at the Northeast corner of Duvall Avenue N.E . and N.E . 4th St .) SECTION II: This Ordinance shall be effective upon its passage and approval and five days after its publication.
