RESOLUTION NO. 2187
WHEREAS it is necessary and advisable for the City Council
to be fully informed as to projectsof the City, present and
proposed, and
WHEREAS it is necessary for the City Council to be aware
of the present staffing of the City and the skills of that
staff, and
WHEREAS it is advisable for the City Council to be aware
of the expenditures of the City, totally 'by Department and ,by .project
both present and proposed, NOW THEREFORE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, DO
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I: The above recitals are found to be true and
correct in all respects .
SECTION II: Each department shall submit a report in full
used on projects
listing projects , expenditures and firms/ to the City Council prior
to the adoption of the City Budget.
SECTION III: The administration shall prepare a full
report, prior to the Council consideration of a preliminary budget ,
which shall contain the listing of regular full-time employees , non
regular full-time employees, part-time employees , non regular part-
time employees and those employees provided by CETA, WIN or other
programs , To the extent possible this report shall contain the
employeesPdegrees, skills or areas of expertise .
SECTION IV: The administration report shall contain the
dollar expenditure, in total and by department, for previous year
and the proposed budgeted year.
SECTION V: The reports detailed in Sections II through
IV above shall be pres„ nted ..to the City Council no later than August
1 of each year.
