CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON
RESOLUTION NO 2105
WHEREAS the City of Renton has certain trackage, ties
and switches located at Lake Washington Beach Park, as more particularly
described herein below, and
WHEREAS said trackage, ties and switches are of no further
use cr benefit to the City and there is no, foreseeable requirement
for same , and
WHEREAS it is to the best interest of the City to declare
such trackage, ties and switches surplus and disposeof it in the best
and most advantageous manner as hereinafter specified, NOW THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I : The aforesaid findings and recitals are hereby
found to be true and correct. in all respects .
SECTION II: It is hereby found and determined that those
certain ties , switches and trackage located at Lake Washington Beach
Park are no longer needed for any public use or purpose and there is
no foreseeable requirement or need therefor, and is hereby declared
surplus , said ties , switches and trackage being' located on the
following described property:
All that portion of Lake Washington .Beach Park
as acquired by the City from. J. H. Baxter a Company
by Warranty. Deed recorded in Volume 257 , Pages 59
to 61, records of King County, Washington; and
those certain condemnation cases known as Cause
No. 714532 and 735570 , Superior Court,. in and
for State of Washington.
The City' s Purchasing Agent is herebyauthorized and
directed to advertise for the sale of the above described trackage,
switches and ties , upon sealed bids, and as otherwise provided by
law. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and
to waive any irregularities in the .form of the bid. Said personal
property shall be sold on a cash basis .

-SECTION III : Said trackage, switches and tieslbcate&_.
at Lake Washington Beach Park shall be sold in its "as is" condition
without any warranty, express or implied, on the part •of the City
of Renton.
