A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, DECLARING
ITS INTENTION TO CONSTRUCT AND INSTALL CURBS AND GUTTERS ,
ASPHALT PAVING, ALL UNDERGROUND UTILITIES , WATER, STORM,
SANITARY SEWER, POWER, TELEPHONE AND STREET ILLUMINATION,
TOGETHER WITH ALL NECESSARY APPURTENANCES THERETO ON
RAYMOND AVENUE S .W. RUNNING IN A SOUTHERLY DIRECTION
FROM SW 16TH STREET, SOUTHERLY AN APPROXIMATE DISTANCE
OF 1200 FEET, RENTON, WASHINGTON: AND TO CREATE A. LOCAL
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT ID ASSESS THE COST AND EXPENSE
OF SAID IMPROVEMENT AGAINST THE PROPERTIES IN SUCH
DISTRICT SPECIALLY BENEFITED THEREBY: NOTIFYING ALL
PERSONS WHO MAY DESIRE TO OBJECT TO SAID IMPROVEMENT TO
APPEAR AND PRESENT THEIR OBJECTIONS AT A MEETING OF THE
CITY COUNCIL TO BE HELD ON NOVEMBER 14 , 1977 .
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY •COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: That it is the intention of . the City Council
of the City of Renton, Washington, to construct and install the

following curbs and gutters , asphalt paving, all underground utilities,
water, storm, sanitary sewer, power, telephone and street illumination,
together with all necessary appurtenances thereto, in the following
described area of the City, to-wit:
1. (a) Description of Local Improvement District No. 307
See Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a
part hereof
(b) Improvements
See Exhibit "B" attached hereto and made
a part hereof.

This Resolution is in support of that certain "Petition '
for Formation of Local Improvement District" filed with the City Clerk
on or about August 3 , 1977 .

There shall be included in the foregoing the acquisition
and installation of all necessary valves, fittings , couplings,
connections , equipment and appurtenances , and the acquisition -of
any easements , rights-of-way and land that may be required; and
there shall further be included the performance of such work as
may be incidental and necessary to the foregoing construction and
installation.
The City Council may, in .its discretion, modifyxand amend
the details of the foregoing described improvement, including the
financing thereof, where in its judgment it appears advisable,.
provided such modifications and amendments do .not substantially
alter the general plan of said improvement project. All of the
foregoing shall be in accordance with the plans and specifications
therefor to be prepared by the Director of Public Works of the
City of Renton.
SECTION II: The entire cost and expense of said improvement
unless hereafter timely modified or amended by the City Council,
shall be borne by and assessed against the property specially
benefited by such improvement to be included in the local improve-
ment district to be established, embracing as near as may be all
property specially benefited by such improvement. There shall be
included in the cost and expense of said improvements all cost
items specified in RCW 35.44.020.
SECTION III: That all persons who may desire to object
to the improvement herein described are hereby notified to appear
and present such objections at a meeting of the City Council to
be held in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, Renton, Washington
at 8 : 00 P.M. on November 14 , 1977 which time and place are hereby
fixed for hearing all matters relating to said proposed improvement
and all objections thereto and for determining the method of payment
for said improvement. The City Clerk shall give notice of said
hearing and said' proposed improvement as required by law.

SECTION IV: Warren Gonnason, Public Works Director,
or his duly authorized representative , is hereby directed to submit
to the City Council, on or before the aforesaid hearing date, all
data and information required by law to be submitted.

A Twp. N. ,arcel of land situated in the SE 1 4 of Section 24, 23 Rng. 4

W.M. and the SW 1/4 of Sec. 19, Twp. 23 N. , Rng. 5 E. , W.M. being all that
portion of C. D. Hillman's Earlington Gardens Division No. 1, as recorded in
Volume 17 of Plats, page 74 records of King County Washington, subsequently
vacated on 10-16-1939 by Commissioners Journal Volume 38, page 8 records of said
county, described as follows:
Beginning at the NE corner of Lot 58, Block 31 said vacated plat; thence southerly
along the easterly lines of Lots 58 thru 30 inclusive of said Block 31, to an
intersection with the northerly Right-of-Way line of SW 19th Street (S. 156th St.) ;
Thence Westerly along said Right-of-Way line extended westerly, to the SW corner
of Lot 39, Block 32, of said plat;
Thence northerly along the westerly lines of Lots 39 thru 63 inclusive, Block 32
of said plat, to the NW corner of Lot 63;
Thence continuing in a northerly direction along the West line of the East 1/2

"EXHIBIT B"
The improvements to Raymond Ave. SW running in a southerly direction
from SW 16th Street, south an approximate distance of 1200 feet,
consists of the installation of curbs and gutters, asphalt paving, all
underground utilities, water, storm, sanitary sewer, power, telephone,
and street illumination, together with all necessary appurtenances.
