RENTON HILL AREIAS MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN ; AND
TO CREATE A LOCAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT TO ASSESS THE COST
AND EXPENSE OF SAID IMPROVEMENT AGAINST THE PROPERTIES IN
SUCH DISTRICT SPECIALLY BENEFITED THEREBY; NOTIFYING ALL
PERSONS WHO MAY DESIRE TO OBJECT TO SAID IMPROVEMENT TO
APPEAR AND PRESENT THEIR OBJECTIONS AT A MEETING OF THE CITY
COUNCIL TO BE HELD ON February 24 , 1978 .
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RENTON, WASHINGTON , AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I : That it is the intention of the City Council of the

enances thereto , in the following described area of the City, to wit :
1 . (a) Description of Local Improvement District No. 293
As incorporated herein as per Exhibit "A" which
is made a part hereof as if fully set forth.
b Improvements :

There shall be included in the foregoing the acquisition and
materials, 'supplies ,
installation of all necessary ec -x-life-k gXXmgmxxgRamaz—t±mmx x
equipment and appurtenances, and the acquisition of any easements ,
rights-of-way and land that may be required; and there shall further
be included the performance of such work as may be incidental and
necessary to the foregoing construction and installation.
The City Council may, in its discretion, modify and amend the
details of the foregoing described improvement, including the financing
thereof, where in its judgment it appears advisable , provided such
modifications and amendments do not substantially alter the general
plan of said improvement project. All of the foregoing shall be in
accordance with the plans and specifications therefor to be prepared

SECTION II : The entire cost and expense of said improvement,
unless hereafter timely modified or amended by the City Council , shall
be borne by and assessed against the property specially benefited by
such improvement to be included in the local improvement district to be
established, embracing as near as may be all property specially benefited
by such improvement. There shall be included in ,the cost and expense of
said improvements all cost items specified in RCW 35 . 44 . 020.
SECTION III : That all persons who may desire to object to the
improvement herein described are hereby notified to appear and present
such objections at a meeting of the City Council to be held in the
Council Chambers of the City Hall , Renton , Washington , .at 8 : 00 P.M.
on February 24 , 1975 , which time and place are hereby fixed for
hearing all matters relating to said proposed improvement and all
objections thereto and for determining the method of payment for
said improvement. The City Clerk shall give notice of 'said hearing and
said proposed improvement as required by law.

SECTION IV: Warren Gonnason, Public Works Director, or his duly
authorized representative, is hereby directed to submit to the City
Council , on or before the aforesaid hearing date , all data and information
required by law to be submitted.

Beginning at the NW corner of Tract 1 Renton Co-operative Coal Co. 's Acre
Tracts Plat No. 1 as recorded in Vol. 9 of Plats page 29 Records of King
County, Washington:
Thence Easterly a distance of 48 feet to a line which lies 68 feet Easterly,
measured perpendicularly to the centerline of Cedar Avenue South;
Thence Southerly along said line, being 68 feet Easterly of and parallel to
the centerline of Cedar Avenue South, through Tracts 1 through: 14 inclusive
to the South line of Tract 14 said plat, said South line also being the
North right-of-way margin of S. 7th Street;
Thence in a Southerly direction across S. 7th Street along said line being
parallel to and 68 feet Easterly of the Centerline of Cedar Avenue South,
to the North line of Lot 1, Highland Addition as recorded in Vol. 17 of
Plats, page 32 records of King County, Washington;
Thence continuing Southerly along said parallel line through Lots 1 through
4 Highland Addition to the South line of Lot 4 said plat;
Thence West along the South line of said Lot 4 and its Westerly prolongation
to its intersection with a line which lies 80 feet Westerly, measured per-
pendicularly to the centerline of Cedar Avenue South;
Thence Northerly along said line, being 80 feet Westerly of and parallel to
the centerline of Cedar Avenue South, through a portion of the NW 1/4 of
Section 20, Twp. 23 N. , Rng. 5 E. , W.M. within the Henry H. Tobin D.C. #37,
to an intersection with the South right-of-way margin of S. 7th Street;
Thence continuing in a Northerly direction across S. 7th Street along said
parallel line being 80 feet Westerly of and parallel to the Centerline of
Cedar Avenue South, to the North right-of-way margin of S. 7th Street, said
North right-of-way margin also being the South line of Tract 15, Renton
Co-operative Coal Co. 's Acre Tracts Plat No. 1, as recorded in Vol. 9 of
Plats, page 29, records of King County, Washington;
Thence continuing Northerly along said line being 80 feet Westerly of and
parallel to said centerline of Cedar Avenue South through Tract 15 said
plat of Renton Co-operative Coal Co. 's Acre Tracts Plat No. 1 to the North
line thereof;
Said North line of Tract 15 also being the South right-of-way margin of
S. 6th Street;
Thence in a Northerly direction across S. 6th Street along said parallel
line being 80 feet Westerly of and parallel to the centerline of Cedar
Avenue South to the North right-of-way margin of S. 6th Street, said

S. 5th Street and the Cedar River Pipe Line right-of-way to an intersection
with the Southerly right-of-way margin of Primary State Highway No. 1
(F.A.I. No. 405) .
Thence Northeasterly along the Southerly right-of-way margin of said State
Highway to its intersection with the North line of Lot 20, Block 4, said
plat of Town of Renton,
Thence Easterly along the North lot line and the Easterly prolongation of the
