Home My WebLink AboutRES 1988 CITY OF RENTON RESOLUTION NO. 1988 WHEREAS the City of Renton heretofore adopted Resolution No. 1916 under date of July 1 , 1974 , providing for the adoption of the City' s "Six Year Arterial Construction Program" , and the City' s "Arterial Street Plan" , pursuant to public hearing held thereon on June 24 , 1974 , and WHEREAS subsequent thereto certain changes and amendments are deemed necessary, proper and in the public interest , and WHEREAS ta_ public hearing has been held on such amendments and changes on May 26 , 1975 , after notice thereof as required by law, and WHEREAS said changes and amendments were duly considered by the City Council atsuch public hearing , NOW THEREFORE , THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS : SECTION I : The City' s "Six Year Arterial Construction Program" and the City' s "Arterial Street Plan" as heretofore adopted by Resolution No. 1916 under date of July 1 , 1974 , are hereby further amended and modified, all as more particularly shown on the attached Exhibits labeled A-1 and C-1 , and same are incorporated herein as if fully set forth. SECTION II : The aforestated plans and programs , as evidenced by said Exhibits , shall be and constitute the City' s "Six Year Arterial Construction Program" and the City' s "Arterial Street Plan" , as amended, and same to remain in full force and effect until further revised, amended and modified as provided by law. SECTION III : The Director of Public Works and the City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to file this Resolution, together with the designated Exhibits , with the Director of Highways for -1- • • the State of Washington, and as otherwise provided by law.
