CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON
Resolution No. 1998
WHEREAS the City heretofore passed and approved Resolution
No. 1828 relating to pay differentials for certain officers of the
Police and Fire Departments not covered by any Collective Bargaining
Agreement, which pay differentials were subject to certain terms and
conditions , and
WHEREAS the City has now entered into new Collective Bargaining
Agreements with the Renton Police Guild and Local 864 of the International
Association of Fire Fighters, and
WHEREAS it is deemed advisable at this time to provide for
a pay increase for certain officers as specified in Resolution No.
1828 ,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I: There is hereby allowed and granted to those
officers designated in Resolution No. 1828 of the City' s Police and
Fire Departments not covered by existing Collective Bargaining Agreements
an increase in their basic salary of 11% , respectively, effective July
1, 1975 and to be effective for the remainder of calendar year 1975 .
Such increase shall be funded from Excess Revenues anticipated in the
Current Fund.
SECTION II : Resolution No. 1828 heretofore passed approved
on December 1, 1972 is hereby repealed in all respects and shall be
of no further force and effect.
