RESOLUTION N0. 1877
WHEREAS the City of Renton heretofore .purchased certain office
equipment in connection with the City' s Urban Arterial Street
Construction Program, and
WHEREAS said equipment is of no further use and benefit and
there is no foreseeable requirement for any of said equipment, and
WHEREAS it is in the public interest to dispose of said
equipment, NOW THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF RENTON , WASHINGTON, AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I : It is hereby found and determined that the following
equipment is no longer needed for any public use or purpose and there
is no foreseeable requirement or need therefor, and all of said items
are hereby declared surplus , to-wit :
3 desks
3 chairs
6 drafting tables
8 drafting stools
5 stools
3 layout tables
1 Kardex file
1 Print file
8 letter trays
The City' s purchasing agent is authorized and directed to advertise
for the sale of the abovedescribed office equipment, upon sealed bids ,
and as otherwise provided by law. The City reserves the right to reject
any and all bids and to waive any irregularities in the form of the
bid. All of such equipment shall be sold on a cash basis .
SECTION II : The net roceeds from the sale thereof, after

deduction of all reasonable expenses , shall be remitted , prorata,
to reimburse the Urban Arterial Trust Fund and the Forward Thrust
Fund respectively.
SECTION III : All of said office equipment shall be sold in
their "as is" condition, without any warranty, express or implied,
