CTTY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON
ORDINANCE NO. 4423
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, AMENDING
THE INTERIM ZONING MAP AND CHANGING THE ZONING
CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTIES WITHIN THE CITY OF
RENTON FROM MR (MIXED RESIDENTIAL} TO CN (NEIGHBORHOOD
COMMERCIAL) (JAMES DALPAY, #E-21) .
WHEREAS, under Ordinance No. 4406 the City Council adopted the
Interim Zoning Map based upon the Interim Land Use Element of the
Comprehensive Plan adopted by Ordinance No. 4405; and
WHEREAS, the adoption of the Interim Zoning Map constitutes an
area-wide zoning; and
WHEREAS, the City Council established a process known as the ,
"Errata Process" for reviewing concerns about the Interim Land Use
Element of the Comprehensive Plan and the Interim Zoning Map; and
WHEREAS, the property hereinbelow described has. heretofore been
zoned as MR (Mixed Residential) , and the City Council having
reviewed the zoning classification under the "Errata Process" and
referred this matter to public hearing before considering a change
to the zoning classification to CN (Neighborhood Commercial) ; and
WHEREAS, this change in zoning classification was duly
considered in public hearing held on or about the llth day of
October, 1993, and said change in zoning classification being in
conformity with the City' s Interim Land Use Element of the
Comprehensive Plan, as amended, and the City Council having duly
considered all matters relevant thereto, and all parties having been �I
heard appearing in support thereof or in opposition thereto;

NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. Ordinance No. 4406, the Interim Zoning
Ordinance, is hereby amended with respect to the zoning
classification of the following described real property in the City
of Renton, and that property is hereby rezoned to CN (Neighborhood ;
Commercial) :
See Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof as
if fully set forth herein.
(Property, approximately 3 . 02 acres, is located at
approximately 3955 N.E. Sunset Boulevard) . )
SECTION II. This Ordinance shall be effective upon its
passage, approval, and five days after its pub.lication.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL this 8th day of November ,
1993 .
