AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, AMENDING
CHAPTER 3, ARTERIAL HIGHWAYS AND STOP STREETS, CHAPTER 7,
MOTORCYCLES, CHAPTER 9, PARKING � METERS AND ZONES, AND I
CHAPTER „ 12, TRAFFIC CODE, OF TITLE X (TRAFFIC) , OF
ORDINANCE NO. 4260 ENTITLED "CODE OF GENERAL ORDINANCES OF
THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON" BY REPEALING CERTAIN
SECTIONS RELATING TO TRAFFIC.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. Sections 10-3-1, 10-3-2 and 10-3-3 of Chapter 3,
Arterial Highways and Stop Streets, of Title X (Traffic} , of
Ordinance No. 4260 entitled "Code of General Ordinances of the City
of Renton, Washington" are hereby repealed .

Washington" are hereby� repealed. .
SECTION III. Sections 10-9-1, 10-9-2, 10-9-3, 10-9-4 and 10-
9-5 of of Chapter 9, Parking Meters and Zones, of Title X (Traffic) ,
of Ordinance No. 4260 entitled "Code of General Ordinances of the I
City of Renton, Washington" are hereby-repealed.
SECTION IV. Section 10-12-1 of Chapter 12, Traffic Code, of
Title X (Traffic) of Ordinance No. 4260 entitled "Code of General
Ordinances of the City of Rent�n, Washington" is amended to read as
follows :
10-12-1: Adopted by Reference ('Washington Model Traffic
Ordinance) : The Washington Model Traffic Ordinance is hereby
adopted by reference as if fully set fortli herein. The definitions

of traffic infraction and criminal violation as cited in Chapter I
148, Laws of 1980, Regular Session sliall define which violations of �
, the incorporated statutes shall be citation violations and which
