Thank you for the opportUnity to "'weigh in" on the prQP')5Cd Comprehensive Plan Amendment and

especially in developing the Aircnlft Compatible Land Use rbn.
As a user of the Renton Airport. we ute vitally inten:sltd in the futun: of the Airport.OO its continued

We sec the Airport as II key economic attraction for those husioMSC:S and people .... ·bo win ~tually

the area being rezoned .
AI you delibefDte this vay importAnt m3tter, we would appreciate your consider.Woo of the (onowing
points:
• There is on inherent risk in designating In)! porIion of the Airport or its environs.as a "high risk"
area. It h:u been demonstnLlCd that by doing so there is a danger of DJlti-airport ron:es using such
designalions as jwtirlAMe rtaSODS for seeking limitation of airpart usc, irnot closing a.n airport
