WHEREAS Section 24, Chapter 83, Laws of 1967, �ctraordinary Session by the
State of Washington requires each county or city lying within or having within its
'�oundaries an urban area shell classify its arterials into three functional classes
to be knawn as major arterials, secondary arterials, and collector arterials� all
in accordance with Unif orm Staadards est�blished by the Urban Arterial Board� and
4h�BAS the City of �entan has prepared a plan ahowing the classif ications
acceptable to the Urban Arterial Board, and no publ�c hearing is required on acceptance
of these classifications; NOG1 TE�REFORE

Section I: The attached map of the City of Renton with color c ode deaig-
nations of classffi�ed urban arterials, as evidenced by the Bxhibit •'A" attached hereto I
and made a part hereof as if fully set forth herein, be and the same is hereby adopted
and retified and said classificatfons are hereby adopted as the City's Irunctional
Classifications of Urban Arterials.
SECTIO�T II: The City Clerk and the City 8ngineer are hereby authorized And ��
directed to f ile said color coded mep with the State of Washington Urban Arterial Board
prior to � �'y � , 1958, together with a copy of this Resolution.
