VI�HEREAS, THE CIlY OF RENTON� a Mun3ctpa[ Corporation, accepted ar� offer
from the U�ited States Government for an advance fo� preparation of planning dac��
mer�fis perta i nt r�g to a pub 1 ic work described as RENTOh! PUBL lC Lt BRARY.
Y�HEREAS, JOHNSTON-CAMPANELLA, A.I.A., 8� AS�OCtATES were engaged to pre�
pare the ptanning docume�ats torfihe aforesald public work, a�d said architects t�ave
comp(eted the d�cuments and submltted them for approvai; and
V�HEREAS, the compteted pZanning dxumec►ts �ave been carefu[ ty studied
and are co�sidered to comprise adequate Plan�ing of the public work essentiat to
the community and within the ftnanciat abllity of the CtTY QF RENTON to construct;

BE IT RESflLVED BY THE CITY COUNClL UF THE CtTY OF RENTON, the governjng
body of said applicants
That the planning documents submitted by JOHNSTON-CAMPANELLA, A.l.A. &
ASSOCIATES, as the bas�s for construction of the RENTON PUB�.IC LIBRARY, dated,
January �5., 1960 , tn connection with Mousing and Home Finance Agency Project
No. �iash. �5-P••3051� be and the same are hereby approved; and
That cert3fted copies of thts Resoaution be fited with the Housing and
Home Finance Agency.
