SECTION I: fihe above facts and recitals are hereby Eound to be true and
corxect in all respects. The City Council hereby requests the State �Iighway Cou�-
c�issian to tai:e a21 necessary steps and aetions to provide for and have allocated
sufficient funds in the next State budget for the widening o€ Secor�d Avenue fram
State Highway 269 - 405 Interchange ta its cannectian with Rainier Aventle and I
State Highway 900; and that the State Hi..ghway Department� together with all other �
praper ageneies, give al2 necessary priarity to the aforesaid praject.
SECTTON II: The CZTY OF RENTON hereby agrees to take a11 steps reasonably
necessary to effectuate the aforesaid project and to coaperate fully caith the proper
State agencies toward the accomplishment thereaf.
