WHEREAS nflt less than three printed copies in boflk form of the "Uniform Housing Code, 1964 Edition" as issued by the InternatioaaZ Canference of Building Officials, have heretofore been filed in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Renton for use and examination by the public, and it is deemed advisable to adopt said CODE by reference as provided by law, together witch any amendments, additions or modifications thereto, when printed and filed with the City Clerk from time to time; N041 THEREA3RE BE IT ORDAINED $Y THE 1KAYOR ANQ THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENT�ON AS F�LIAWS: SECTION I: The "Uniform Housing Code, 1964 Edition" issued by the International Conference of Building Officials, o€ which not less than three printed copies in book form have heretofore been f iled in the office of the City Clerk and made available fcr examination by the public, is hereby adopted as the "UNIFDi2M HUUSING CODE, 1964 EDITION" for the City of Renton, which CODE may hereafter be dPsignated as "CITY OF RENTON HOUSING CODE, 1964"; and any and all amendments, additions or modifications thereto when print- ed and filed with the City Clerk of the City of Renton by authorizstion of the City Council from time to time shall be considered and accepted and constitute a part of such CODE without the necessity of further adoption of such amendcAents, modifications or additions by fihe legislative authority of the City of Renton or by Ordinance. SECTION II: By the reference thereto made hereinabove, said "UNIFORM IiOUSING CODE, 1964� EDITION", together with any and all amendments, modifications ar additions thereto hereaftar printed and filed with the Ci�y Clerk as hereinabove specified, are incorporated in and made a part of this Ordinance as fully and with the same effect as if set out herein in full, or as if adopted by subsequent Ordinances amen8atory hereof. SECTION III: This Ordinance shall not be construed to relieve from or lessen the responsibility of any person owning, building, altering, constructing or moving any building or structure as defined in the aforesaid CODE; nor shall the City of Renton or any of its agents thereof be held asassuming such liability by reason of inspection authorized herein or a Certificate of Occupancy issued by the City or any of its agents.
