DISPENSING LIQUOR.
BFs IT ORDAINED BY THE NIAYOR AIVD THE CI'I'Y COUI��IL OF THE CITY OF RENTON AS FOLL(TrJS:
SECTION I:��Sting Section 5-2403 of Title V (Business Regulations) of Ordinance No. 16�3
entitled "Code of General Ordinances of the City of Renton" is hereby amended to read
as follaws:
Section 5-2403, as amended: HOURS OF SALE: A21 such tave:�sand
o'�'�er licens�d premises in th� City, ;in =.��'���� 1��13;�r is sold, offered
for sale or consumed by the opened bottle or in glasses, sh�ll. be kept
closed and all persons except proprietors and regular e�ployees thereof
shall be excluded from such premises between the fo2lowing hours, to-wit:
A, Between the hours of 2:00 A�M. and 2«00 P.M, on Sunday,
B� Between the hours of 10:00 P.M. on St�nday and 6:00 A,M. the
f ollowing Monday,
C., Between the hours of 2:00 A.i�i, and 6:00 A,M.. o:� �:ny weekd�;�.
D. Upon the day of any general, s�cial or primury election of
any state, county or municipa2 offic� withia thV Jtat�, district,
county or municipal corporatian in which such election is held,
and before the polls have cZosed (except general or speciai
elections of any diking district, drainage district, diking and
drainage district, irrigation district or �.ny other district
election whea such elections are held on a�► isolated date and
the ownership o£ property is a prerequisite to voti.ng at such
elections)'.

Notwithstandi.ng the provisions of Subsections A, B and C hereinabove,
on December 31 the hour of opening shall not be earl ier th�n 6:00 A.M.,
exc2pt on Sunday when it sha 11 not be ea rl ier than 2:0� P.M� and the IZour
of closing next following shall not be later than 3:00 A,M. New Year's Day.
SECTION II: All other ordinances or parts of ordinances in con��ict h2r��aith �re
hereby repealed and superseded by the above amendment.
SECTION III: This Ordinance sha12 be in full force and effect �n �nd �fter A.����:�� lg, I'
�9;;7, at 6�00 A.M., and after its pass�gs, approval and legal gsbl�c4t:�o:�.�
