THE ZONIAG CIASSIFICATIOIV OF C�R'�IN PROPERTIES G7I'IHIN
THE CITY OF REIVTON, FRCM RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT (R-2) TO
"APARTf�NT HOUSES AND NNLTIPLE Dt,•JELLINGS (R-4)"
WH�RE[�S under Chapter VII, Title IV (Building Regula tions) of Ordinance No.
1628 known as the "Code of General Ordinances of the City of Renton", as amended, and
the maps adopted in conjunction therewith, the property hereinbelow described has
heretofore been zoned as Residential District (R-2); and
GJHEREAS a proper Qetition for change of zone c2assification of said property
has been f iled with the City Clerk on or about December 27, 1967, which petition was
dul.y referred to the Planning Commsssion for investigation, study and public hearing,
and e public hearing having heen held thereon on ar abaat February 28, 1968; and proper
notice of hearing has been duly published and posted as provided by law; and said
petition having been duly considered by the P2anning Commi.ssion, and seid reaoning

request beiag in conformity with the City's Comprehensive Plan Snd a12 parties•having
been heard appearing in support thereof or in opposition thereto, NC{,1 THER�FORE
BE IT ORD�INED BY THE MAYOR AND Ti� Cl2Y COUNCIL OF THE CITY � RENTaN,
4JASHINGTON, AS FOLLQdS:
SECTION I: The following described property in the City of Renton is hereby
rezoned to "ApB�ttt�nt Houses and Nultiple Dwellings" (R-4); the City Engineer snd
the Planning Director are hereby authorized and directed to ehange the maps of the
Zoning Ordinance, as amended, to evidence said rezoning, to-wit:
Lots 11 and 22, Block 19, Renton Fazm Plat No. 4, City of
Renton, County of King, State of t-Jashington,
located on the ST.7 corner of Ulells and N. 4th St.
SECTIOIV II: This Ordinanee shaZl be in full force and effect from and after
its passage, approval and legal publication.
