AN QRDINANCE OF THE CI'TY OF RENTON, UdASHINGTON, VACATING A PORTION
OF 91ST AVENUE SOUTH IN THE CI'I`Y OF REI�ITOIV, KING COUNTY, WASHINGTON:

47HEREAS a proper Pe�ition for vacating a certain portioa of roadway,K herein-
after more particularly described �g ���:. f iied with the City Clerk on or about
October 18, 1967, and said Petition has been signed by the awners of more than two-
thirds of the property abutting upon such portion of roadways- sought to be vacated,
and whereas fihe City Council by Resolution No. 150I passed and approved on
November 13, 1967, and after due investigation did fix and determine the 4thday oi
December, 1967, at the hour of 8:00 P.Ni. in the City Council Chamber og the City of
Renton to be the time and place for public hearing thereon; and directed the Clertc to
give notice of such hearing in the manner provided by law and such notice has been duly
given and published and all persons having been heard appearing in favor of or in oppo-
sition thereto; and whereas the Planning Commission having duly considered said Pefiition
and said vacation as hereina�ter more particularly described being f ound to be in the
public interest and f or the public benef it and no injury or damage to any persan or prop-
erties will result therefrom, and
�dHEREAS the City Council caused to have made an appraisal of the properties
�o��ght to be vacated as provided for in City of Renton Ordinance No. 2349 and the City
havigg li.kewise elected to retain an easemec�t f or public utility purposes, NOW THEREFORE
$E IT ORDAINED BY THE I�YAYOR AND THE CI'1'Y CQUNCIL OF THE CI'1`Y OF REN1'ON AS

3ECTION I: The f ollowing described portion of street, to-wit:
That portion of 9lst Avenue South lying south of vacated portion of

BE AND THE SAt�1E IS HEREBY VACATED, subject to payment unto tha City by the abutting owners •
thereof of the total sum of $ 2,250.00 , which sum does not exceed one-half of
the appraised value of the area so vacated; AND FURTHER SUBJECT TO the following
descrii�ed easements for utility purposes to be retained and reserved by the City flf
Renton, to wit:
(1) The west 10 feet of the East 24 feet of the South 60 feet;

(2) A utility easement 10 feet in width centered an the centerline of
an existing 8 inch sani�ary sewer line beginning approxmmately 7
feet westerly of the southeast corner of said portion and ending
approximately 3 feet easterly of the northwest corner of said portion; ��

water line lying �.8 feet northerly of and para11e1 with the north-
