AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN
PROPERTIES WITHIN THE CITY OF RENTON FROM
SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE DISTRICT (R-1) AND
GENERAL CLASSIFICATION DISTRICT (G-7200 ) TO
RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT (R-2 )
WHEREAS under Chapter VII , Title IV (Building
Regulations) of Ordinance No . 1628 known as the "Code of General
Ordinances of the City of Renton" , as amended , and the maps
adopted in conjunction therewith , the property hereinbelow
described has heretofore been zoned as Single Family Residence
District (R-1) and General Classification District (G-7200 ) ; and
WHEREAS a proper petition for change of zone
classification of said property has been filed with the City
Clerk on or about December. 30 , 1968 which petition was duly
referred to the Planning Commission for investigation , study
and public hearing , and a public hearing having been held thereon
on or about January 22 , 1969 , and said matter having been duly
considered by the Planning Commission ,and Petitioner-Owner having
duly amended his petition for zoning , and said rezoning request ,
as amended, being in conformity with the City' s Comprehensive
Plan and all parties having been heard appearing in su,pport
thereof or in opposition thereto , NOW THEREFORE
� BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I : The following described property in the
City of Renton is hereby rezoned to Residential District (R-2 )
as hereinbelow specified; The City Engineer and the Planning
Director are hereby authorized and directed to change the maps
of the Zoning Ordinance , as amended, to evidence said rezoning , ,
to-wit: I

Parcel #1 - beginning at the NE corner of Lot 6 ,
Block 3 , Corrected Plat of Renton Highlands #2 ;
thence south along the east line of said plat 308 . 69
feet to the true point of beginning; thence south along
the said east line of said plat 70 feet; thence south
88°38 ' 40" east 110 feet; thence north and parallel
to the said east line of said plat 70 feet ; thence
north 88°38 ' 40" west 110 feet to the true point of
beginning.
Parcel #2 - beginning at the NE corner of Lot 6 ,
Block 3 , Corrected Plat of Renton Highlands #2 ; thence
south along the east line of said plat 378 . 69 feet ;
thence south 88°38 ' 40'� east 170 feet to the true
point of beginning ; thence south 88°38 ' 40" east 151. 6
feet ; thence north 1°10 ' S2" east 220 feet; thence north
88°38 ' 40" west 151. 9 feet ; thence south and parallel
to the said east line of said plat 220 feet to the
true point of beginning .

Renton, King County , Washington) .
SECTION II : This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage , approval and legal publication.
