WHEREAS the City of Renton heretofore passed and approved its Resolution No. 1636 calling for an election to be held on the 18th day of November, 1969 , for .the annexation of the hereinbelow described property, and WHEREAS a special election was duly called and held on the aforesaid date and returns having been �iled and canvassed by the King County Canvassing Board of election returns , as provided by law, and WHEREAS the County Council of King County, Washington, duly adopted its Ordinance No. 00270 under date of December 15 , 1969 I approving such a��exation, NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR 'ANl� THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON AS FOLLOWS : SECTI'ON I : The aforesaid Findings , recitals and determinations are hexeby found to be. true and correct in all respects and all requirements of the law in regard to such annexation by the election method having been duly complied with. It is further determined that the above annexation to the City of Renton of the property and territory hereinbelow described be and the same is hereby appr.oved and granted by reason of the favorable vote. of the electors on Proposition No. 1 of said special election held on November �8 , 1969 . The City' s Comprehensive Plan as applica�l.e to the abovedescribed property is adopted herewith and shall be controlling, and as same may be amended from time to time. SECTI'ON II : Thi:s Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage , approval and legal publication as provided by law. A certified copy of this Ordinance shall be filed with the �ounty• �ouncil, King County, Washington, and such oth�er governmental agencies as provided by law. SECTION 'III : Th.e abovedescribed annexed property contiguous to Precinct No S��-5lof the City of Reriton shall be and constitute a part of Precinct No.S��SJ� of said City.
