HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 2589i .� 3 - v ' • , . - A �. ^---+ ��. »�+.-w�l �. . . � � ORDINANCE NO. ,� _��y � AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. 2580 TO INCLUDE CERTAIN PROPERTIES INADVERTENTLY OMITTED FROM THE LEGAL DESCRIP.TION OF SAID LOCAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT N0. 271; CORRECTING THE PRELIMINARY ASSESSMENT ROL:.L ACCORDINGLY; AND OTHERWTSE AFFIRMING ALL OTHER TERMS AND PROVISIONS OF ORDINANCE N0. 2580 WHEREAS the City of Renton by Resolution No. 1693 , passed and approved on June 22 , 1970 declared its intention to construct and install certain sanitary sewer lines and appurtenances thereto, and WHEREAS subsequent thereto the City of Renton passed and approved Ordinance No . 2580 on the date of August 3 , 1970 , and WHEREAS it has been determined by the City Engineer since the adoption of said resolution and ordinance aforesaid that a s�nall parcel of property had been inadvertently omitted from the legal description of the boundaries of Local �mprovement �istrict ISo . 271 , and WHEREAS it is in the best interest and for the benefit of said Local Improvement District and all of the parties affected thereby, that Ordinance No. 2580 be amended to evidence said correction; NOW THERE�'ORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AN D THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON AS FOLLOWS : SECTION I: The aforesaid findings and determinations are hereby found to be true and correct in all respects . SECTION II : The legal description of the boundaries of "Local Improvement District No . 271 of the City of Renton, [nlashington" as contained in Resolution No . 1693 and in Section II of Ordinance No. 2580 is hereby corrected and amended to read as follows , to-wit: See Exhibit"A" attached hereto which is here�y- incorporated herein as if fully set forth. and the City Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to take all necessary steps and actions to correct the legal description of the boundaries of said Local Improvement District No. 271 as aforesaid including the preliminary assessment ro11 relating thereto. -1- , . � i .. .. , e , � . � � • a � . . . SECTION III : All properties included �tithin the limits of the Local Improvement District, as amended, sha11 be considered to be the properties specially benefited by such local improvement and shall be the properties to be assessed to pay the cost and expense thereof as specified in Ordinance No. 2580 . Total estimated cost and expense of� said improvement, as corrected, is hereby declared to be $70 ,483. 84 . SECTION IV: �:- All other terms and provisions of Resolution Nq. 1693 and Ordinance No. 2580, except as amended and modified herein- above to correct the legal description of the boundaries of said Local Improvement District No . 271 , shall remain in full force and effect and same are. herEby��affir.med and re-adopted by reference as if fully set forth herein.
