OF SIGNS AND RELATED MATTERS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, AS FOLLOWS : I�
SECTION I: Existing Section 10-201 of Title X CTraffic) of
, Ordinance No. 1628 entitled "Code of General Ordi.nances of the City
of Renton" is hereby amended to read as follor,zs :
Section 10-201 as amended: ONE-WAY STREETS :
The following streets in the City, betv,teen the terminal
�oints herein defined, are designated as one-way streets ,
upon which vehicular traffic shall travel only in the
direction stated herein for each street :

SECTION II : Existing Section 10-203 of Title X (Traffic) of
Ordinance No. 1628 entitled "Code of General Ordinances of the City
of Renton" is hereby amended to read as �ollo�s :
Section 10-203 as amended: ERECTION OF SIGNS:
The City Engineer of the City is authorized and directed to
establish from time to time appropriate regulations pursuant
hereto , for control, travel, parking, crossings , speeds , and
uses of said one-way streets ; and to erect signs , place
markings and signals on said streets as may be found appropriate
and necessary for such control purposes. Upon these designated
streets and parts of streets , vehicular traffic shall move only
in the indicated direction and signs i.ndicating the direction
of traffic shall be erected and maintained at each intersection
c�here movement in the opposite direction is prohibited hereunder.
SECTION III : Existing Section 10-205 of Title X (Traffic) of
Ordinance No. 1628 entitled "Code of General Ordinances of the City
of Renton: is hereby amended to read as follows :
Section 10-205 as amended: ONE-WAY ALLEYS :
The follo�ring described alley in the City extending northerly
�rom its intersection of S. 4th Street east o� Shattuck Avenue
S. for a distance of three hundred sixty feet C360t ) located
in block l, Smithers Fifth Addition to the City, is hereby
estaI�li.shed and designated as "one-way't upon �ahich vehicular
traffic shall travel only in a northbound direction.

The alley between Airport Way and S. Tobin Street for a distance
of six hundred sixty-seven feet C667 ' ) , west of Logan Avenue S. ,
is hereby established and designated as "one-�ay" upon �ahich
vehicular traffic shall travel only in a westbound direction.
SECTION IV: Any and all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION V: This ordinance shall be in �ull force and effect
from and after its passage, approval and legal �ublication.
