Home My WebLink AboutORD 2731 t. �� ' , 'w, . r'`� r � ' . , �� a ,• , ) � _ � r�, n . �� ' �iENTQ� QRDINANCE N0 . �'�� AN� ORDTNANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHII�TGTON , ADOPTING AND ESTABLISHING BY REFERENCE CERTAIN WASHINGTON TRAFFIC STATUTES , i � WHEREAS by O�di.nance Na. ,�.,.��; , adop-�ed the llth day af Dec- i ember, 1967, the Cit�r af Renton adopted and e�tablished by reference the "Code of Washing-�on Traffic Statutes" as i,ssued by the Associa-�ian � o�' Washington Gities in, cooperation with the Bureau of Gavernmental ; Research and Services, and generally iden�zfied as Informa�ian , ' Bulleti.n Na, 283 ; and � WHEREAS subsequent thereto Su�plements to Information �ulletin I No. 2$3 dated May, 1968, January, 1969 , Septem.ber, 1970 and December, 1971, all enti�led t`Washington Traffic Statutes" have been issued by the Associ.ati.on af Washington Cities ; and WHEREAS not le�s than three (3) printed copies each in book form of the "Washing�ton Traffic Statu�e�'x , Supplement to Infarma�ion Bulletin No , 283 dated May, 1968, January, 1969 , September, 19?0 , and December, 1971, as i�sued by the Assaciatian of Washington Citi.es in cooperation with the Bureau of Governmen.tal Research and Services , have heretofore been f iled in the Office af the City Clerk far use and examination by the public; and it being deemed advisable to , ado�t sai.d "Washi,ngton Traf�ic Statutes" as set forth in said � � Supplements, by reference as provided by law, together with any I amendments , a.ddi�ions or modi.fica�ions �hereto when prin�ed a.nd filed with -the City Clerk from -time to tim.e, and �IHEREAS it is advisable to a o -� sa" tr f ' d p zd a �zc statutes includedtherein by reference, N4W THEREFORE THE CITY COUNCIL 0�' THE CITY OF RENTON DO ORDAIN AS FOLLQWS : I I SECTION I : The said "GdA�NGTON TRAFFIC STATUTES" as issued by -the Assoca.ation of Washingtan Ci-�i.es in cooperatian with the Bureau. of Gavernmental Research and SErvices , specifically Supplements _1_ � ' . . . . , .` f � , , - .� . , . • . � , F to Information Bulleti.n No . 283 dated May, 1968 , January, 1969 , September 1970 and December, 1971, of which not less than three ( 3) printed copies each, in book form have heretofore been filed in the Office of the City Clerk and made available to the general public for examination, are hereby adopted for the City of Renton, as Supplements to "Washington Traffic Statutes" as heretofore adopted by Ordinance No , �.� -'j`, , and I any and all amendments , additions or modifications thereto when printed and filed with the City Clerk by authorization of the City Council from time to time shall be considered and accepted and constitute a part of such Code without the necessity of further adopti.on of such amendments , additions or modifications by the legislative authority of the CITY OF RENTON or by Ordinance. SECTION II : By the reference thereto made hereinabove, said rrWashington Traffic Statutes" as hereinabove described, together with any �: and all amendmen.ts , modifications or additions thereto and hereafter printed and filed with the City Clerk are incorporated herein and made a part of this Ordi.nance as if fully, and with the same effect as if � set out herein i.n full, or as adopted by subsequent Ordinance amendatory 1 hereof.
